Test Tools for Product Validation

CypheRix provides a suite of test tools that can be used to validate the design of encryption systems. 

The test tools are designed around the following criteria:-

• automation (run for extended periods of time i.e. days, with no user interaction)
• iteration (cover most permutations and combinations of parameters)
• recursive testing (spurious failures may be trapped)

All aspects of a system's design (done in software and/or hardware) may be tested using these tools. This includes the protocol and the cryptographic algorithms. A system may initially be implemented in software, compiled and linked into an object referred to as a "CModel" and tested in this way, purely as software. The system code may then be ported to the final target and re-tested. This ensures a "layered" approach to testing. The Test Tools may be customized according to the device under test.

Test Results from different sessions (executions) and generated by different users are recorded in a database. Such results may be easily viewed, analyzed and printed as formal reports using the tools.

Each system or product designed has a custom test environment build based on a common set of well tested building blocks.
